The second webinar will build upon the first, which has already established the relevance of care for addressing the ecological crisis. Thus, this webinar will focus on the potentials and strategies for transitioning from an economic system that does not prioritize care towards a caring society. Questions that will guide the discussion include: What strategies can help increase the political feasibility of a caring society? How can this be achieved, especially during times of increasing right-wing populism that propagates a gendered division of labor and aims to push care back into private homes? How do different forms of power restrict or facilitate the transition towards a caring society?
“What strategies can help increase the political feasibility of a caring society?”
